Health and Wellness

FRDC is committed to promoting health and wellness and have led and partnered with others to create programs and initiatives to fulfill this commitment. Through collaboration with area institutions and organizations we promote healthy and active living, access to healthy food, and nutrition education for the community.

Fairfax Walking Club

The walking club is active June through October and meets once a week on Wednesdays. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, get physically active and learn healthy tips.
